Two Thousand and Eleven.

Happy New Year!
last night was so much fun
I went to a party with Laina & Ashley
it was so much fun
and after the ball dropped and we celebrated
we had a prayer time.
it was exactly what I needed to hear
what an amazing way to start the new year.
so blessed to be surrounded by amazing people.
self-timer success.
notice the boys holding hands.
ha.
and today I celebrated 2011 by... shopping.
okay, it was barely shopping.
I did buy this
I love cheetah print.
loooove.
then picked up some new blush
which I heard was amazingggg.

and some more hairspray. exciting.

went crazzyyy with the purchases today.
ha.
oh gracious. well I hope everyone had a wonderful 1/1/11.

2011, Get at Me.

Happy New Year's Eve!
this morning we woke up
and went to the annual
Lynn's Paradise Cafe
NYE breakfast in pajamas.
I've gone with Laina and her family for the past three years
and I love it!

good friends!
tonight will be a good night.
I'm excited to ring in the new year with my friends.
and just a fresh start in general.
that's what makes Dec. 31 so great
that, and the fact it's Laina's birthday!
yesterday, meghan and I went to get our nails done
and browsed the outdoor mall.
Sales Galore.
wandered into Express
and came out with this
I know, I need to stop shopping because spring is coming.
Buuut it was a deal =)
I hope everyone has a wonderful NYE.

xoxo

Thankful.

Home Is Where The Heart Is.

Finally, I am home and so thankful for family & friends.
College is a blast, but Birmingham is far away.
What a fun almost six hour drive...in the dark.
Luckily, I only had to drive half of it.
The time here has flown.
Today, we had our Thanksgiving meal.
Yes, a couple days early but there's nothing wrong with that
when you have a big family.
There's so much I'm thankful for-- I never thought I'd miss Louisville, KY so much.
While here I was able to shop just a bit.
& picked up a watch I've been wanting...

This will go with pretty much anything
and the 'boyfriend' look makes it much cuter.
And the other highlight so far of this trip was heading to the movies
with Laina and Chris and seeing...
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 1
I was only freaking out the entire time.

Not sure how I feel about this...
But I guess the filming is over and she's all grown up?
Either way-- HP proved to still be going strong.
Can't wait until July.
Literally.

Until Later.
